Short And Sweet

A poem from the pen of Rachel,
who has kindly allowed me to refer to her
as my protégée:
_______________________________________

Kiss me 'til I'm dizzy
Spin me like a top
Put me in a tizzy
Never want to stop.

Hug me 'til I'm breathless,
Try to break my back,
Will you come on Christmas
Meet behind the shack?

Whisper 'til I'm deaf, dear,
You must know the words,
You can look for ME here
Not for mockingbirds
