Shiver Poem by Pere Risteski

Shiver

You are a woman jealous to another woman
or mabye you are Andromachas
unfaithful seducer?
From which
― I shiver.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
From storms and thunders
from your tongue
as your son and
as a stranger
― I shiver.
A pearl withdrawn in its shell
kneeling on my knees
in front of Destiny
from the ring on your
right hand
― I shiver.
Chilled to the bones and rooted to the spot
I sry-you don't listen to me
I stand-you don't see me
as if someone has died
I'm afraid
― I shiver.
Who are you, what are you?
You are a woman jealous to another woman
or mabye you are Andromachas
unfaithful seducer?
From which
― I shiver.
