Shepherd Me Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Shepherd Me

Rating: 4.3

Shepherd Me

Shepherd me O Lord
Cries my thirsting heart
Lead me to thy waters
Where my fears depart

Shepherd me O Lord
Feed my hungry soul
Guard me on my way
For you will make me whole

Shepherd me O Lord
For I'm desperate for you
I'm that sheep that's lost his shepherd
And only you know what to do

JoAnn a wonderful plea which I'm sure will not go un-neglected. As Meggie so rightly said Our Shepherd will always bring us back to his fold. Top marks and thanks for sharing this my friend. David

A wonderful poem which appears to have flowed from the soul. One suspects the low value voter holds some strange grudge against anything expressive of prayer or God. I give it a 10. This piece stands quite beautifully simply as poetic verse. Thank you.
