Sheer Genius Poem by Luce Darwin

Sheer Genius

Your eyes
Where can I find them?
I need more you
I am sinking
Through your oceans
Of sublime
I am devastated
By the grandeur
Of your mind
I am stunned by the sights
Fixed by the architecture
You have built for yourself
I want to see your cities of splendor
Your quiet countrysides
And cozy hidden bungalows
In which you furnish
With your innermost thoughts
I want to experience
The evanescent bursts
of your epiphanies first hand
Scale the alpines
Of your most elated feelings
Fall in the lagoons
Where your sadness boils
Bathe in the optics of your brillant sun
So intricately placed at the center
Of this conundrum
That is your solar system
The paradox
Of your sheer genius
Never fails to leave me perplexed
And brooding with every syllable
