Sheer Cruelty

Rating: 4.5

Nothing but
Sheer cruelty.
The practice of
Slaughtering innocent
Animals like buffaloes, Goats,
Sheep, Chickens, pigeons, ducks
Swans etc etc are against love,
Against law of nature that hurt
The sensitive sections of society.

Nothing but
Sheer cruelty.
Nothing but barbaric,
Nothing but against eternity,
Against modernity and humanity.

At Khairguda in Bolangir district of western Odisha, India in the name of religious values a large number of animals and birds are being slaughtered that shocked animal lovers and social activists while the Kandha community are observe their annual Sulia Jatra. The ritual of animal sacrifice continues amid the beats of Dhol, Madal, Nisan, Ghant and gini. The combined sound of these musical instruments is enough to suppress the yell and cry of the innocent animals.
