Shedding Self Proclaimed Gurus Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Shedding Self Proclaimed Gurus

self proclaimed gurus
tried to follow for awhile
they did not want to learn

self proclaimed gurus
wanted to be admired praised
wanted hero worship

mini gurus
ego mind waited
breath bated

but no answer came
no return recognition
mutual praise ad-lip

no return following
no apprentice adoring
no reciprocal listing
