She Waits Poem by Harper Jones

She Waits

Rating: 4.5

With fingers of painted grey,
And eyes of green pastures,
She waits.
A dreamer of magnificent,
And a bleeding heart of passion,
She waits.
Never distressed,
Ever anxious,
She waits.
Of love that covers the oceans,
Can only an eternity deliver,
She waits.
Knock once, knock twice,
Tis' a dream to be delivered.
She waits….. no more.
