She Stood Like A Statue Poem by KAVIN CHARALAN

She Stood Like A Statue

Rating: 5.0

I took the brush to paint her
She came and laughed with my words

I took the pen to put her in words
She vanished and came with Rainbow's colors

If you do the vanishing act hither and thither
What to do? 'Please tell and stand still' I said

She smiled and vanished again
Without listening to me

I threw out the brush and pen
And sat silently in a corner

Then she came quietly
With gentle smile on her lips
And stood near me like a statue
