She Must Go Poem by Neela Nath Das

She Must Go

Rating: 5.0

After a long days struggle
when one gets the touch
of freedom, joy rides on her
and makes her happy very much.
There are the age-old trees
and the endless stretch of leas,
waiting for her and
the sky-kissing hills
have picked the dew up
from the pure clouds of the high.
She must meet the banyan tree
whom she loved and for it leaves sigh.
She must go and must meet all,
which she has left long ago.
The greens and the blues
the forsaken past for all she must go.
