She Means Well Poem by Mita Diran

She Means Well

She knew where the sun set
Where colours clashed in the sky
Her body moved like logic
Predictable and wise
Her heart hung beneath the sea bed
And died by the tides
If the inanimate could speak
They would cry like the wild
It such a mess
The way her words spill
But she means well
All the while
