She Likes The Finer Things Poem by Colin Coplin

She Likes The Finer Things

Rating: 5.0

Some like the theatre, some like bars after dark,
Some like late dinners, and some fancy cars
Some like to travel, see the world from first class
But she likes the finer things
And she likes to laugh
I guess that's why she's has me tightly in her grasp

Some like adventure, some simply the truth
Some like to make love, in a parliament phone booth
Some follow leaders, with charisma and class
But she likes the finer things
And she likes to laugh
I guess that's why she's has me tightly in her grasp

She likes to be free, cool wind in her hair,
She likes conversation with friends, clean country air
She likes the future, filled with hope and a dare
Yes, she likes the finer things
I guess that's why she's has me tightly in her grasp

Some like security, fashion and fame
Some like rare diamond's, the price of a name
Some like redemption, others fast lanes
But she likes the finer things, like walking in the rain
And she likes to laugh
I guess that's why she's has me tightly in her grasp

She likes to be free, wind in her hair, clean country air
Conversation with friends
Yes, she likes the finer things
I guess that's why she has me in her grasp
She like to enjoy, what's in her heart
She likes to be in love
