Her eyes will gleam and she will lie
She won't let you know what she's feeling inside
She doesn't want this, so just go away
The thing is, she might feel different another day
She convinces herself that she doesn't feel
But in her heart she knows this is just to real
She can't forget what that other guy did
So she can't joke around or even kid
She knows what's gonna happen, what yet to come
She knows this path, it's where she comes from
And she doesn't want to go back there, that sad place
But her mind and heart weakens when she sees your face
She's seen the pain and seen love die
And worst of all it should of stayed alive
She's seen guys come and seen guys go
She's seen guys 'love' just for show
She hates this feeling and wishes it away
But it'll always come back another day
