She Dies A Little More Poem by Autumn Winds

She Dies A Little More

Rating: 5.0

Slowly
Ever so slowly
She dies a little more inside

Her dreams
What she hoped
To achieve wastes away

Never
Becoming the
Reality she wishes

Love
Lost and now
Forgotten beneath white ashes

Curiosity
Destroyed
Burned to cinders

Happiness
A fading hope
In a never ending nightmare

Anger
The hot embers
Are the only thing she has now
