She Didn'T Come Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

She Didn'T Come

Rating: 5.0

I waited but she did not come
Eyes stared in one direction to welcome
No trace of her and generating heat
Heart almost missed and skipped a beat

I saw in her a very good friend
It seemed relation will never end
We may walk for miles hand to hand
We developed relation with positive trend

I slipped into memory and saw her smile
Agony and anxiety vanished for a while
Ears were not used to listen to sweet voice
I sank deeper as had no other choice

She remained with me at every turn
Aroused the passion with nothing to burn
She aired the surrounding with melodious song
flown with clipped wing as something went wrong

Wind blew in haste almost touching her curly hair
Sweet fragrance spread across mildly in air
Red cheeks shined on face with colour fair
I couldn’t believe eyes ………………….

Was this sign of betrayal?
Should I not wait for her arrival?
May there be some special reason?
I feared a rain out of season

I did not cry and tried to weep
Sought the reason to remain calm and keep
Not to seek anything in return
Brave front for making “U” turn

I consoled self and heaved a sigh
Emotions emerged and ran very high
She may have some reasons to hide
Not necessary for all moves to disclose and confide

I thought of putting self aside
She may not be by my side
Her memory may last and suffice
Can’t I make little sacrifice
