She

She

In the cold of morning
On her way to find work
I met her

“Hi”
She said
Tall, slim with smile

She’s lovely

As she was at her job

She complained

CFT, like our world
“Connections, Corruptions
They brought their friend
Took my job, '

It was hard

She’s removed
Slandered

I know them
I’ve been there

Connections and favors…………..Corruptions……..

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
