Shattered Confidence (No Laws Spared)

SHATTERED CONFIDENCE
(No Laws Spared)
By Steven A. J. Drake
February 18,2012

Break the records on the floor
Pick up the pieces forevermore
Don’t talk too much
To even the score
Beat the bands
Already out there
Don’t give into loses, pray tell
Miraculous
Shot out around the world.

Fighting odds sold out, tempered
Minds selling off poetry
Lyrical quests
Since infinity
Surface length
At baneful promise
Winter’s beneath all four seasons
Reality
Taking too much poison.

Heretofore, benevolence
Gone, hemlock buried prices fixed
Predominate
Slicing up heartfelt
Circumstance
Down walls self exposed
Denuded calls
In breadth of lairs wins.

Transition lost along the
Way, skewed up the back, no sincerity
Where bravery
Is caught tomorrow
Yesteryears
Consequential fear
Adhered to beauty somewhere out
Of these black holes
Darkness thusly so far.

Summation, enclosures gone,
Fallen heights, despair, angels fall
No forgiveness
Whispers, silence no
One is there…
Gifts slight of hands, foul
Procedures up to high heaven
Earth shattering
Confidence no laws spared.
