Your sitting and wondering
What will it be
And planning everything
So very carefully

A life full of so much
Love and joy
Being married having
A baby girl or a boy

But what happens when
You cant even dream
And you realise whats
Really your reality

A life so faded
And badly damaged
Unable to cope
Or even manage

The dreams that are there
Going around your head
Will I survive or finally
End up dead

A past so scary
A present that doesn’t matter
And a future thats
all in bits and shattered

wanting to forget
the question is how
don’t know how to live
in the here and now

what is real or
what is fake
save me now
but is it to late

passing a line that
is so far in the distance
the things I have seen
the things I have witnessed

trying so hard to climb
back into life
trying to fix things
and make everything right
