Shark Of Security Hill Poem by Hubert Wilson

Shark Of Security Hill

Base new Air Force personnel were his merciless prey.
Reflecting with silent joy how to lead them astray.
Impossible to beat him in any pool game.
Always in the end - the results the same.
No way he could be outdone.

Consummate wagering record until he totally victimized a general's son.
Angered eough to warrant an extra duty sentence.
Supposedly offered the offended general a unique act of repentance.
Taken aback by the Shark's offer of double or nothing!
Exactly NOT the way to find the general was NOT bluffing.
Excitedly biting through his cigar - becoming a swallower, not a smoker!
Later learning his daughter lost to the Shark many times in strip poker!

Never will forget the invincible 'Shark' with his omnipresent wrap around extra dark sunglasses, his flagrantly 'unmilitary' long blonde hair combed straight back and his singular use of Right Guard deodorant as a breath spray!
