Shape Poetry - My Tears Poem by Olivia Slemmermann

Shape Poetry - My Tears

My tears
Soaked my pillow last night
I grieved neither for you nor me
My sorrow was for the spoken word
That came forth to lash you by me…
It cut me to the core when you said
That it brought a tear to your eye
It’s not good I know so well
To make a grown man cry
Lord please forgive me
Help me to curb
My lashing
Tongue

Let
Not
Such
Words
Again
Unleash
Poison
To
The
One

I
Love
