Shady Poem by Anna Hardin

Shady

Rating: 4.5

You left when I was only two,
you never even knew.
You never saw me grow up.
My need for you is like an empty cup.

The closest thing to a father I had was my older brother.
I'm the best I can be because of my mother.
Just realize I get what you mean,
I know how you act like someone who always wants to be seen.

You can't make up for what you put me through,
you walked out on us when I was two.
You ran out on me,
I just think that's shady.

This is very emotional and penetrating. A touching thought. Excellent and I like all your short lined whispers.
