The memories that hold me back

Cannot accept reality as it is

Trying to live my life my way

What is happiness, Don’t know happiness

Where do I go wrong

Is there someone I can reach out to

Why am I so alone



Don’t cast anymore shadows

Hold my hand, lead the way

Help me, make me wise

Take away the shadows of life



You’re the closest to understanding me

With you my feelings are free

All my darkest fears

Seems to fade in your presence

Why is life so cruel

To separate us for this time

My fears once more a reality

This loneliness without you
