Shadows (Haiku) Poem by Matthew Moser

Shadows (Haiku)

The Shadows Lengthen,
And In the night grow stronger,
They Embody fear

But has the shadow
Ever really gone? They hide,
For the night they long,

Night, is the shadows
Best friend, by destroying light,
At all days last rays.

Indeed shadows embody fear, which is a conglomerate of sinister shadows without substance. An insightful poem, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing.
