Shadows Poem by Mikey Diggs

Shadows

Rating: 5.0

As I bask in the uncertainty that has become my life
Clear visions I had once possessed
Fade into hazy nights
with no real definition or depth
All I see is a memorial of confusion
Based upon regrets
An unwavering Mecca my mind makes my body madly mourn
... To see the diligence of irony
Once the sun is reborn
The darkness fails, but her shadows live on
