Shadows Poem by Bellatrix Mogos

Shadows

Rating: 4.5

A heavy feeling of despair
Blown, blown through the air
Inhaled by all, await the fall
To what lurks in the shadows

An unreasonable sense of glee
Blown, blown right into me
I did it all, I caused the fall
I am the shadow

An insightful depiction of loss of sunlight - life at its lowest ebb seriously oppressed by depression, well articulated and nicely encapsulated in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Whenever one's life takes a turn for the worst, one must remember that he/she is the person driving. Faith keeps those that keep the faith. Thanks for sharing Bellatrix.
