Shadow Of A Killer Poem by Nightmist Moonshade

Shadow Of A Killer

I dwell among the silence,
I stand amidst defiance.
You cannot see me yet you speak of me,
I turn thought to deed.

You think you know me?
The ever throbbing convolution in your logic is not apparent?
You will never know me,
For I and I alone hold the key.

As the phoenix flying in the sky searches for it’s dauntless prey,
I am the sun that lights your life, and the breath that takes it away.
Though your travel here,
I soon shall make you disappear.

Even as the night grows long,
You feel as though there is something wrong.
This is me.
I take your hopeless dreams,
Now you hear only my screams.
