Shadow Poem by PERSIAN NIGHTINGALE

Shadow

Rating: 4.9

The sun shone through the leaves,
Casting shadows on the lawn
Following my love's death
I became quiet and withdrawn

A wonderful breeze whispered
The darkest hour is just before the dawn
When you miss your life's reason
Be patient and serene as swan

But the dawn always does follow the darkest hour. Take heart. A pleasing, even if sad, poem. Fx
