I follow your every move;
you’re never on your own.
Behind your every smile
I wait until it’s time.

I am everywhere you are
there is no escape.
Daylight won’t protect you;
the night is my victory.

When you tuck yourself to bed
you quiver at the thought of me.
When darkness binds us;
you and I become one.

The closet to all your demons;
I am your shadow.
In the darkness,
you shall surrender to me.
