Shades Of Rain Wet Flax Poem by Terence George Craddock

Shades Of Rain Wet Flax

Rating: 5.0

the rain is falling
wet upon the flax
where is resident
tui which drinks
sweet nectar not
from black bell
shaped flowers?

waiting tui for spring
maroon mature flax flowers?
or red green yellow flowers
nectar orange pollen stems?
where is the bellbird singing
with sweet thrilling chimes?

flax long sword
blade green leaves
bent over blown
by weight silent breeze
shades of rain wet
flax glisten in mist
