Shackled In A Sinking Ship Poem by Chuy Amante

Shackled In A Sinking Ship

Shackled in a sinking ship called America
Do I try to save the ship
or free myself?
Once free
I'll help the others

Chained I am of no use
and we end together

Krash! KaBlAm! ! ! ! Crunch! !
Alas! I've ripped the chains
from the walls of Conformity
Here I come my Brothers
