Seven Seas Poem by Yohan Confectioner

Seven Seas

The tide comes in once more,
My feet tap in the shallow
As I gaze out at my hallow,
My lady lies on the opposite shore.

The deep ocean seems so shallow,
The radiance of the moon shimmers on the sea.
The stars twinkle from atop as if a switch is
Being turned on and off.

My lady love lies across the ocean
And sees what I see.
Yet she sees…not me!

The tide is low and gentle at night
And the water swooshes and caresses the sand.
My lady love is across;
Just a tiny spec in the distance.

Nature above sends light:
The large moon; still, everglowing in our darkness
And the stars, seen dwindling in number
Yet showering in light.

The stars speak;
Their twinkling seems to be them mouthing
A divine message
To the two souls shore to shore separated by sea.

My lady love is across, I know
But does she know that
To reach…
I'd even cross the seventh sea.
