All thumbs up for 745. The first stanza stands apart, leads me down that road rony, rony with such applause! a grab of collage in Hades of a star, burns through haystack of woods... Happy I that A-man holy enough to sense the Lord! Often I've heard of such vile talk at Billy tea house, a girl behind the counter, still checking in with those tickets at Westernly Coffee shop, old Morris car in the garage, can have no repair, the letter box is empty, the first morning news...the spotty dog sniffing of smokey cans from a drop of vintage, cooled in the morning sun, enough! This was absolutely brilliant, the imagery was thought provoking and the language was witty and spontaneous, it ebbed with lots of power a big 10 up (Report) Reply

I like this a lot Jason. It's edgy. It's clever. It covers a lot of ground and it's unafraid. All essential ingredients in the making of a great poem and poet.
I'm off to read your other stuff. (Report) Reply

Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
