Serpent In The Fold Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Serpent In The Fold

The Serpent in the Fold
The hedgehog silent
Goes
And innocent
He trudges
On and on.

Great crowds
Saw I
But lines erect
And moving
The figures stood.

Over the bay
Turned the light
Of the old lighthouse
While Night silent lay.
