Serene Shrine Poem by vavroovahana patra

Serene Shrine

Oh, Mother Mangala!
Thy shrine is serene and pure.
The psychological and physical diseases
Ye cure.
How magnificent is the ‘Prachi’ river!
She attracts the devotees for ever.
How enchanting is the birds’
Melancholic strain!
It sanctifies the devotees brain.
The river’s water mingles in the ocean.
That is the beauty of the creation.
I pray on the altar
With a handful of tear.
Oh, Mother mine,
give me a dust of thy blessing;
with a long cherished desire
i am coming.
I stand with a garland of love and affection
I do not know about the meditation.
Give me a little blessing of thy perfection
The “prachi” water washes thy feet
With ever lasting impression.
