September 9 in ’69
John left the Beatles, bringing to an end
an era.
Cheerer
of my spirit, lover and best friend,
where will you be when I resign?
Today is 09/09/09, inspiring my poem “Oh Nein, Oh Nein, Oh Nein”. On Kusc this morning, Dennis Bartel reminded us that on 09/09/69,40 years ago, John left the Beatles.
