How do you ever get over the pain?
bursting into tears suffering with shame
no longer wanting to live life or play this game
thinking life is meaningless placing the blame

On the very one who have you feeling low
when the happiness disappears and the darkness grows
the hurt within your heart eats away at your soul
I wear this smile but no one really knows

Just how I feel, confused and alone
living in this house, it doesn't feel like home
because my heart knows its wrong
Being taken away from you, I don't want to go on
