Sensitive You

after the Hammerklavier
YOU
the woman in green
no aquamarine
YOU
who had failed to muffle your ruffling-through of your stuffed bag
for lollies wrapped in cellophane
and had passed one to the embarrassed woman in front
and had unwrapped two
one for your partner
and one for
YOU

YOU
added to insult
by rising first with applause

Sensitive YOU in aquamarine
who had sensitized this ear
to every sound
but the ones it came to hear
