Selfishness

Be gone with the self loathing, pity parties, and dwelling
I am ending it right now, today, this very second
Tired of fighting these fights within myself, I am my own self being
Funny is the engish dictionary, one word, so many meanings
Selfishness
It is what I am, I am selfish for taking time for myself, self awareness
I am selfish to exclude nonsense from my life
Focusing on myself to better my self, It is selfishness
Selfish it is to be happy with myself, so when i am i can make the ones i love happy also
Selfishness...So?

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

It lies not in our power to love or hate,
For will in us is overruled by fate.
When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
