Self Poem by Indira Renganathan

Self

Rating: 5.0

Bluff it is
If I say I'm a learned poet
For I'm not a scholar
So too my poems

My master's degree..
Lost in the abyss of oblivion
Searching out of and on
Those learnt reminiscences

I write to learn
Learning to write
And that learning
For my heart's happy content

You're welcome to read my words
For shared should be my happiness
Pat or hit..I don't bother
For I'm not a learned poet

A Beautiful write straight from the heart. There is a passion in your voice, let it flow freely from your thoughts and to the pages. Thank you for the beautiful comment for my poem. I am humbled.

Such delightful write! You were doubtful about your writing ability, but doing it for the pleasure of writing. There is determination in your voice. Yes writing gives immense pleasure. It should answer heart's desire rather than fame or money.
