Self Poem by scarlette Phoenix

Self

Rating: 4.5

Every family has a
King, queen
Together with offspring.
Some more than others
And some like mine

Myself alone,
King of my castle,
Though it should be queen
For I am but female

Alone, an outcast
For carrying a gift
Humanity can’t bare
Society declared me reject
For doing what I dare

It wasn’t for me to decide
To possess
The kiss of death,
Granted to me by the one,
Who gave me self respect.
