Selective Discrimination Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Selective Discrimination

Rating: 5.0

It's not noticed until focused upon.
And only then it is said nothing is perfect.
Those on tour buses view landscaped vistas.
Boxed lunches are issued.
Some had ordered sandwiches with mayonaisse.
Others complained of receiving pickles
Without lettuce!
In the distance it was observed,
Millions of people roaming in fields!
They were declared blossoms of a new season!
They were photograped that way!
Selective discrimination works!
