Seeking A Shelter Poem by Heather Burns

Seeking A Shelter

Enter in the evening
shadows setting in
darkness surrounding
home once again

Seeking to unwind
behind a veil of lace
gathering thoughts
a haven restful place

nights curtain closes
shutting the world outside
a shelter from the storm
and the swelling tide.

A powerful and succinct message. Applicable to all.

Does it guide us to learn remaining happy with what you could achieve upto the evening of a life and not to expect more and more what is not possible and to learn to know your limit? ? ?
