Seek Christ Jesus To Live

Erring, living, consumed with doubt
At such enormous cost
Ignorant to life, what God's about
Hell bound, deaf, blind and lost

Oblivious to salvation
Of Jesus crucified
For saving souls of every nation
Our Saviour came and died

For sinful you, for sinful me
From birth unto the grave
God shed His blood on Calvary's Tree
Our shameful souls to save

The bible describes it all so plain
Life's truths, churches, lay bare
Sinners, by faith, can be born again
Eternity to share

Still deceived, countless are dying
Like docile sheep are shorn
Like fools giving-up, once trying
When riches fail to dawn

How many prayers are surrendered
Offering some excuse
Without one's life being rendered
Hell's sentence to reduce

God's not a man, with whom one fools
Without the state of grace
Not sitting between two stools
But seeking Jesus' face

Jesus alone is Heaven's Door
Life's King of kings is He!
For life eternal to be sure
Faithful, bend Christ your knee.....
