See You Again Poem by Thoisquare Tongbram

See You Again

I’ve wrecked my head for tomorrow.
It’s clear yet I still don’t know.
Just see you and go,
Or if possible, ‘we’ could go.

I missed you when you’re gone.
Hell! I miss you so alone
Far or near,
Here or there.

It’s futile to tell you this;
Without words, without a kiss.
Everything’s still new, only we’re old.
And I can see that it’s a step too bold.

My heart just doesn’t stop thumping.
Not just beating, it’s jumping.
Can’t say it’s exciting or, torturing.
You’ll come but I’ll be going.

Everything happens for the best.
Knowing that I still can’t rest;
Hurts to see the others together;
Burns my insides all the more.
The fire inside grows and soars
Way out of control;
Screaming, I’ll give you my all,
Sometimes disappointed,
Sometimes over-whelmed.

I still remember the first time I saw you
And those days after I met you.
Like when I once said
I’ll be yours and so, mine you.
And forever I had to wait.
I’ll forget you cos I love you
I’ll remember you, for I love you

And even if there is a twist
In our story, with clenched fists,
I’ll have my ‘good-bye’ in pain
Or better, a ‘see you again’.
