Secrets Poem by Payyton Egerstaffer

Secrets

Rating: 4.5

Her heart ached with the truth that was kept a secret
Her mind blanked with the memories she tried to forget
Her body was sore with the constant reminder of that day
She knew that people were asking questions
She knew that one day someone would guess the awful truth
She just hoped it wasn’t too late.
