Secrets Poem by Serena Peters

Secrets

Secrets
So silent
But also so deadly
Once they leak out
They hurt someone dearly

You cant trust no one
To keep them quiet
They don’t stick
They’re like a diet

They spread around
Turning into rumors
They go around
Having people hide in corners

They hunt and kill
Yet some are good
Not all
cost someone a life or some blood

These are the things
Want to hold dear
Let them go
And they’re a vicious bear

So think twice
Before you let them flight
Cause they might
Come back and bite

Sending shock
they go through circuits
never let go
of your precious secrets.
