Secrets Poem by Lizzie Marie

Secrets

Forgive me
When I said it was a cat
Forgive you
for your disgust
Forgive me
for thinking it was you who did this
Forgive you
When you gave me enough reason
Forgive me
For hiding in the closet when I was scared
Forgive you
for looking at me like that
Forgive me
for stealing money for you
Forgive you
for never saying thank you
Forgive me
One last time
perhaps 2
For moving away, for stretching us thin
and for breaking both our hearts
Forgive you, one last time
For replacing me with my best friend.
