Secret Of Silent Dreams Poem by Hailey Charette

Secret Of Silent Dreams

As I sit there bathed in the mist of the moon
I hear the faintest whisper in my ear
It sounds like you
But your not here

I keep thinking
Each morning when I wake
You'll be here making even my darkest days
Seem brighter somehow

Every waking day and moment without you
Makes my world seem dark and gray
Even the moons light doesn't shine as bright
Without you here
with me

It seems as though the world is trying to tell me some ugly truth
I'll never see you again
Or be held in your loving embrace
I wish you were here to tell me different
But you aren't
So this is goodbye
Forevermore
