Secret Poem by Amy Carmichael

Secret

Secret love, she’s with someone else
She shares my name and you share her love.
Does she see his face when you kiss her do you suppose?

Secret sex, you’re in bed with your friend’s girlfriend,
Then you’re drinking coffee with me, oh baby what a mess
Does it hurt her to love him do you suppose?

Secret life, keep us both a secret boy,
Love my mind and her mystery, and maybe
Things will work out.
