she wants to say goodbye
but they just said hello
her second thoughts are now
coming up from below
knowing she cares
is whats holding her here
saying love with regret
is her only fear
she can feel both
the love and the need to say farewell
but when she gets the courage
the tearducts swell
she cant do it
not for lack of braveness
but for the knowledge
that she will miss his kiss
but as time moves on
the feeling passes byy
now she just blankly
stares; wondering why
knowing thats not what she wants.
