Seasons And Spices Poem by Ben Gieske

Seasons And Spices

Rating: 3.0

a veil of snow
preparing a lady in white
spring’s new bride
wearing nature’s veil

frozen faces
melting in smiles
rose-colored spaces
waving country style

measured furrowed fields
frozen stem cells
horizons of green
yellow tassels waving

black leather clouds
arrows of light
laughing waters
wonders and sighs

corn stalk tents
pendulum scythes
barn square dancing
watching harvest moons

frosted sugar cakes
freezing skin lakes
pillowed hot chocolate
falling white skies

Seasons season our lives
with spices and our lives.
